As it stands now, we maybe get 1-2 people to listen to our opportunity, yes? And if you have been in Lifevantage for awhile, maybe most of our “hot” leads are no longer interested in our opportunity.

What if I told you that I am going to share with you a presentation that will allow you to present to 10 of 10 people all the time? I have been using this for a short time and have had fantastic results.

Prospect: Well, I have a minute right now. (They want to get it over with, yes?) (Maybe they are curious. They have a minute and can keep their sales shield up for a whole minute.)
All we need to do is give them enough facts to make an intelligent decision. All people need is 3 questions answered to make an intelligent decision of whether to buy or not or maybe have a question or 2.


After 7 months of interviewing people, the author of this CD, "Big Al" came up with these 3 questions:

REMEMBER: A CONFUSED MIND WILL ALWAYS SAY NO, so we are going to SIMPLIFY the process…

1. What kind of business are you in?
2. How much money can I make?
3. What do I have to do to earn that money?

If you would like to be able to earn an additional $1k a month you need to do the following 3 things.

1. DON’T CHANGE. Continue recommending and promoting things like you always have; like your favorite movie, favorite restaurant, and favorite football team. Just DON’T CHANGE.

My bank account grew by $140 while I slept

 

So often those of us in network marketing do all we can to help others understand how valuable of an industry network marketing is.

Network Marketing generates billions of dollars a year and is growing quickly with independent distributors because people are looking for a way to earn money, GREAT money, while answering to only their family.

Why network marketing for me – Today for example: I am the Fitness Director at 2 gyms. Not only do I direct the fitness sales and the trainers, I also sale training and train that training sold.

Last month I sold over $9500 in personal training to 8 members. For those of you that don’t understand that $9500 number, think of it like this: That is like a baseball team scoring 70 runs in one game.

IT IS A BIG DEAL

Today, my “manager” brought me into her office to share a “concern.” First, this gym has not sold more than $4k in a month for over a year with many trainers, much less one trainer selling $9500. Her concern was a member told her that “I am in the personal training office too much.”
As I listened to this, 2 thoughts crossed my mind.

1. Are you kidding me right now? I am a 20 year seasoned professional who prides himself on high standards and goes overboard at every opportunity to make the members happy and comfortable. I just sold a THIRD of this companies Augusts’ sales and you are going to share a bullshit concern rather than take me to lunch? Jealousy and control….it’s what’s for lunch in corporate America.
2. How much quicker can I earn $3k a month more in my network marketing company allowing me to NEVER, EVER…..be talked to like this again? The answer: This month!


Imagine telling Michael Jordan he needs to play better defense. Or Barry Bonds he needs to work on his fielding. Really? Really?


Corporate America is littered with micro-managers, nit-pickers and assholes.

Why is network marketing so attractive?

How many ways do you get paid at your job? ONE, for almost all of you. Oh, and no manager telling you that you suck.

How many ways do network marketers get paid? MULTIPLE

How did I earn $140 in my sleep? I was paid on a second bonus out of our 6 that had nothing to do with me at all, actually. One of my income partners shared our company with 4 other people who saw what we see. He received $1040 yesterday. We are paid an upfront bonus for bringing on new income partners. Each person pays out $260×4=$1040 … Would $1040 make a difference in your life this month?

But how did I earn $140? For every person my partner (s) brings aboard, I earn $50 or $35 bonus. This morning I woke up to an email that read:

“Congratulations. You have earned $140 in commissions.”

What do you think I said?

Niiiiiiiccccccceeeeeee….

 

What did I do with that money? BOUGHT NEW SHOES


What could you do with $140 tomorrow when you wake up?


Network marketing allows you to be paid off of 100% of OTHER PEOPLES EFFORT, rather than 100% of YOUR EFFORT.

How can I get rich

The question that has many, many different answers form many, many different sources.

But honestly, How can I get rich?

There are easy ways and harder ways:

But anyone, anywhere, even in their current position can obtain riches and in fact, it is easier to gain riches when you already a steady income. But, that steady income also creates complacency and complaining. In today’s world, it is necessary to protect yourself with multiple sources of income and opportunities.


Just with this blogging system I have in place, I make 100% of my commissions...


Anyone can have wealth beyond their wildest expectations if they so desire – they must be willing to sacrifice greatly for great rewards; this is why 98% of Americans live in poverty, month to month. Our country has designed it this way.

When you were a child and told everyone what you were going to be when you grew up, is what you are doing now that dream? Or somewhere along the way, did you allow someone to steal that dream from you?

Sure complaining is fun, I used to do it all the time…I complained about my divorce, it got worse. I complained about my debt, the debt got worse. I complained about everything to anyone who would listen as I created personal justification as to why I was broke and everything kept getting worse.

How to 3 Way Call

 

After 3 years of network marketing, what I have learned to be true is that 99% of us independent distributors are afraid to make a 3 way call.

Of course, since the inception of mlm, 3 way calling has been the lifeblood to success in network marketing. Face to face is the best option as network marketing is a face to face relationship business at its best. However, even though everyone knows this, sharing a business opportunity with people scares the shit out of most all of us.
Why is that?

Unfortunately, we as a society have become more concerned about what others think about us than what we think about ourselves.

 

A quote that really changed my thought direction is this:

“It is none of your business what others think about you.”

First, we don’t know how to 3 way call, so we pick up the phone, dial and then our heart’s race, our palms become sweaty and FEAR is the start of the end. We will procrastinate until 97% quit. I am empathetic to all of you and strongly understand how you feel; believe me!
Next, I will articulate 2 ways to champion this part of your business:

1. Create a funnel system, blogging, like I have here with you. It is called Empower Network. Empower allows you to NOT use the phone if you can’t find comfort anywhere in it. Instead of allowing your dreams to be shattered by the uncomfort of contacting people, try this instead for only $25.

Truth is how many of you have sent your opportunity via EMAIL because it was less stressful for you?

Ya, me, too…

Empower is a blogging platform used to advertise to as many people as you like. And with so many folks in mlm and so many afraid that don’t know how to 3 way call, there is a HUGE audience. Rather than 1 person at a time, you can easily funnel hundreds of people to your opportunity through Empowers $25 system.

1. The 1 minute presentation. Yip, I said it…1 minute presentation. It is a skill I learned from “Big Al” who is an mlm coach and mentor to so many.
2. OPEN WITH THIS: “I want to share a business opportunity with you, but it will take me an entire minute. When do you think you could set aside a whole minute?” The prospect is thinking, well hell, right now is good. I am brushing my teeth and can get this over with quick!
3. HOW MUCH CAN THEY MAKE: To earn an extra $1400 a month, you need to do the following three things. (I will use my company Lifevantage as the example here)
1. DON’T CHANGE! (This is critical!! What do all mentors tell us? Be uncomfortable to find comfort. Challenge your fears. Change, change or die.) Tell them DON’T CHANGE; continue doing what they are doing, promoting, suggesting things they love like a good movie, their favorite restaurant or maybe their favorite football team.

But first thing, DON’T CHANGE. (I know you are already fired up!)

1. EXPLAIN YOUR OPPORTUNITY: I work for an anti-aging company. We have less than 70k income partners, 4 patents and multiple studies edifying us as a Superman supplement that fights the relentless damage to our body caused by aging.
2. TELL THEM WHAT THEY NEED TO DO: To earn an additional $1400 each month all you need to do is find 2 more people like you interested in earning additional income either part time or full time and 3 customers.
3. ASK THEM: Would this type of opportunity work for you?

That’s it!

MLM is a Pyramid Scheme?

 

 

I am going to take a moment today and dispel the mystical myth of the greatest network marketing objection of all time – “I don’t want to join your opportunity because it is a pyramid scheme.”
First, what is a pyramid scheme? Does anyone not in network marketing have a clue to what it is? After 2 years of being in this industry, I have learned that it is a blanket statement used to avoid any further discussion or investigation of the opportunity being presented, much like saying, “I can’t afford it.” Anyone who sees enough value in something will find the money. If I gave you keys to your favorite 2012 car, all tricked out, and said for $700 you can have this car out the door that next day I would have $700 from you.

The problem is that a pyramid scheme cannot go on forever because there are a finite number of people who can join the scheme (even if all the people in the world join). People are deceived into believing that by giving money they will make more money ("with an investment of just $100, you will receive $900 in return"). But no wealth has been created; no product has been sold; no investment has been made; and no service has been provided.”





"If you don't want a pyramid objection, don't draw a pyramid to describe your business.
So let's see: a pyramid scheme has no product and no service. Pretty easy to figure that one out, yes?
Okay, so now we can know that if a company has a product and you can share it with someone else and get a paycheck, you are good.

Let’s also understand that a pyramid scheme really is where you are now working when it relates to business. How about your family? Is it the shape of a pyramid? How about our churches? Boy and Girl scouts? All shaped like pyramids.

MLM is a Pyramid Scheme?

1. Corporate America – When I was ranking up at 24 Hour Fitness, my goal was to be CEO. At the time, it was more of a goal of ego I think. I made it District Manager before I resigned to open a gym of my own. But now looking back, it was a smart goal as the CEO is the top of the pyramid. No one makes more money that the CEO and they typically have the last word.

2. How about Church? God is CEO there, then the pastor, etc
3. Boys and Girl Scouts, same concept

4. Any business, corporation, non-profit…all are pyramids. Now that we have a much better understanding, can we be open to an opportunity in the mlm arena?

I hope this has helped to dispell some of the thoughts you may have had about network marketing. It truly is a business with the highest integrity. You pay yourself by how much you do. If you don't make money, it is becuase of you no one else. If you do make money, it is becuase of you and your team BELOW you not ABOVE you. In MLM we work for our team; when we help enough people get what they want, only then can we get what we want.

In a pyramid business scheme, we work for the man on top!

Frustrations with Money

 

I know there are many of you out there frustrated with your personal bank account. As always, I am going to be overly direct as I have learned that straight forward, brutal honesty is a must at times.
For the past week, a friend, someone whom I respect and is with me in Lifevantage, too, today again, asked me about Empower Network and how it is working for me. I have been telling him all week that it is going well. I am earning money, which is great. I am learning, which is fantastic and it is done while I am in my underwear in bed. Last night I went to bed, woke up and had earned money; how great is that?

When I asked him when he planned on coming on, which he has said multiple times he was, he told me he was busy with the family, the kids, work, 2 weddings…etc, you get the idea. For over 8 months, including Lifevantage, I have listened and supported his “excuses” for not working the business. I get it. Life happens. But for a man, with a family, and a dream of millions, today I decided it was brutal honest time. For me, I was frustrated for him with money, too.. I was frustrated at the endless excuses and bullshit. I used to be the guy who made all of those bullshit excuses, and when I quit,

MY LIFE CHANGED EXPONETIALLY FOR THE BETTER!

“Buddy” I shared, “Today I am going to tell you how it is. You want a life for your family that requires a lot of money, yes? I respect you and know that you do what to create that life for your family. However, you cannot make excuses and expect to make money at the same time, bro.”

It was hard to send that to him, but I knew it had to be done; not only as his mentor and income partner, but as his friend.
His response was, “I understand man. I know you’re always going to tell me how it is, and I thank you for that.”

More frustrations with money....deep sigh

 

Sometimes do you feel like you are shouldering the responsibility for so many others? Ya, me, too, especially when it comes to earning money.

It confuses me beyond my limits to hear people talk about their struggles financially and blame the world, then make excuses for it. Maybe the excuses are legit. Maybe you have been dealt a shit hand. But...

WHO CARES? 85% of us have , too...

ENOUGH ALREADY.

GET OVER IT AND BEYOND IT OR IT WILL KILL YOUR SOUL!

 

We all have our shit, our stories, but telling your stories of heartache and hurt will NOT get you financially stable and will certainly NOT fix your frustrations with money. What will? Action…Taking action around opportunities. Honestly, I am also just bewildered at how many folks don’t give Empower a look. They ask so many questions; “Hey, bro, just pay $25 and check it out. If you don’t like it, it cost you $25. You spend that in an afternoon on lunch."
They plethora of bullshit excuses is horrifying and it is no wonder 97% of you are broke.

Excuses -#10-#1

10. I don’t know how

9. I am not sure I know how

8. Did you ask me to do that?

7. My dog at my homework

6. I am afraid

5. That’s one of them pyramid schemes (one of my all time favorites)

4. I’ve got to talk to my spouse

3. I am not good at (insert any opportunity here)

2. That is impossible

1. I can’t afford too

Look, these are all bunk excuses to not take a chance at a better life! Take a chance on LIFE!
At what point will you stand up and say, “Today I will fight BACK! I will RISE ABOVE! I will not sit here and DIE a:

SLOW FINANCIAL DEATH!
